Size: 50 - 70’ eventually Shape: Pyramidal, with horizontal branches. More rounded shape in maturity

Growth rate: medium to fast Type: Deciduous

Foliage: Leaves alternate, glossy green above, paler below. Leaves have 7-9 bristle tipped lobes, the sinuses are c shaped at bottom.

Seasonal foliage color: Reliably colors up in the fall, reds and oranges

Features: Nice tree for large space, exellent fall color

Growing conditions: Full sun. Prefers some fertility (decent soil), good drainage, acid soil, likes some moisture, but adapted to our summer dry climate and poorer soil.

Climate zone: Hardy to zone 4
